Welcome!

Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a lot of things wrapped into one: digital storyteller, indie author, communications professional, marketing consultant, mental health advocate, avid reader, and gluten-free foodie trying to find her place online. This is me in a nutshell.

Coming December 2024

Do you have a book idea in your head but you’re not sure when you’ll find time to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard? I feel you.

I’m excited to introduce Weekend Writing, a digital writing group for those who want to write their manuscript while working full-time (and retain all rights, royalties, and creative direction). Visit weekendwriting.com for a sneak peek. Sessions start Dec 7, 2024. I hope to see you there!

Pushing the Leaves Aside

Designed to be read in a 45-minute sitting, Pushing the Leaves Aside is an inspiring short story of finding your way through the darkness when doing so feels impossible.

Behind the Facade

Raw, real, and heartbreakingly honest, Behind the Facade is one woman’s journey of overcoming everyday trauma.

Growing up, all I ever wanted to be was a marketer (or an Olympic swimmer, but that dream faded fast). I’m grateful my career started in the B2B marketing space and organically evolved into what it is today. I've had the privilege of working in global partner marketing, social media strategy, thought leadership, executive communications, internal communications, and now strategic communications rooted in change management (think: internal marketing) with and for some of the world's most recognizable brands including Cisco, Thermo Fisher, and Nike.

In addition to my corporate career, I built a digital presence from the ground up that reached over 200,000 people in 105 countries per month at its peak. I also started my own boutique social media firm, where I managed the LinkedIn presence of leaders of senior executives on their behalf and taught Instagram strategy and photography workshops. It’s been an honor to be featured in a variety of publications including Women’s Health, Fitness, Yahoo!, and the Wall Street Journal.

On rare occasions, I offer marketing/communications consulting. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to provide social media consulting for CxOs, Oscar winners, small business owners, fellow creatives, and writers. Many have asked me to audit their social media channels; some ask for a personalized social media strategy; others ask me to manage their social media presence on their behalf. My favorite is booking an hour together where you can simply “pick my brain” or show me your plans and ask what you’re missing.

This is a paid expense (typically $85/hour) but I am more than willing to work on a sliding scale for those who need financial flexibility.
